My Story
Hi! My name is Beyza.
I was born in 2001 in Istanbul and completed my primary and secondary education in my hometown, Istanbul. I am a teacher candidate who started in 2019 and currently continues her undergraduate education at the MEF University's English Language Teaching Department. In the first year of my undergraduate education, I started to give English lessons to students who need extra help from the Ayazağa Primary School as a part of the MEF University Within School Project. Even though the Corona Virus disease turned into a pandemic and schools were shut down, I continued these lessons through online education with the help of online tools. I am currently creating Instagram and Twitter content for the MEF Literary Coffee Community and the MEF University LGBTQ + Club.

My Teaching Philosophy
My pedagogical perspective is that each child is unique and needs a challenging educational environment in which they develop physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. It is my goal to establish an environment where students can reach their maximum potential. I work to provide a safe environment in which students may express themselves and take risks.
Because each student is unique, So their education should be tailored to their specific needs.
The way to accomplish it is to create ongoing projects. They play an essential role in promoting mastery. The key to ongoing projects is to provide plenty of project choices to cover the interests of many students that enable them to demonstrate what they are learning.
My goal is that learners should know where to find information, how to evaluate that information, and how to make an informed decision based on their understanding of the issues; by this, it creates critical citizens who can engage in current and world affairs. Thus, becoming global citizens.
